A token is a unit of usage inside Muse. Every time you ask Muse to do something, a small number of tokens is spent. Think of it like fuel in a car: the assistant runs on it, and when you have plenty, you never think about it.
Two things tokens are not: they are not cryptocurrency, and they are not money. They are usage credit that lives inside your Muse account. Treat them as fuel, nothing more.

2. How you earn tokens
The main way to earn tokens is the invite code system. According to Muse's current invite copy, when someone redeems a code, the referrer receives 1 billion Muse tokens and the new user receives 1 billion Muse tokens. Both sides get the bonus, which is why codes are worth grabbing and worth sharing.
To claim the bonus, redeem the code in Settings within 48 hours of joining. The window is short, so redeem right away instead of saving the code for later.

3. Do tokens expire?
No. Tokens you receive from an invite code never expire. You can redeem a code today and still have those tokens months from now. This is one reason a code is worth grabbing even before you have Muse fully set up.
4. How to keep earning more
